Cambridge Cross Country Competes at Fulton County Championships, Sat. Sept. 19th

The Cambridge High School XC team had a good meet last Saturday, Sept. 19th at the Fulton County XC Championships which included Milton HS and many other schools outside our region.

The meet was on the Milton HS trail which is one of the most challenging courses in the state.


Race Recap:

Varsity Boys placed 3rd out of 13 scoring schools. Bjorn Leicher (SR) had the best CHS finish at 3rd place.

Varsity Girls placed 9th out of 12 scoring schools. Chloe Phelps (SOPH) had the best CHS finish at 23rd place.

 

Junior Varsity Girls placed 6th out of 11 scoring schools. Juliana Harrington (JR) had the best CHS finish at 23rd place.

Junior Varsity Boys placed 5th out of 13 scoring schools.  Carson Ertwine (FR) had the best CHS finish at 10th place.

 

Open Boys placed 9th out of 10 scoring schools.  Miguel Rodriguez had the best CHS finish at 84th place.

Open Girls placed 6th of of 10 scoring schools.  Megan Spaulding had the best CHS finish at 2nd place.
 

The team is off this weekend for some well deserved rest.  The next race is Saturday October 3rd at the Bob Roller Invitational in Jefferson, GA.
