Lady Bears Finish Region Play with 10-0 Win!

Lady Bears Drop a Dime on Kell

April 1, 2025 (Atlanta, GA) – Blessed Trinity, it's your turn.

The back-and-forth battle between for region supremacy between Blessed Trinity and Cambridge soccer will come to conclusion this week. The Cambridge Lady Bears took care of their business Tuesday night, ending region play with a convincing 10-0 win over Kell.

Now, BT must defeat Westminster on Thursday night. If they don't, Cambridge will earn it's fifth straight region title.

Either way, the Lady Bears should be proud for closing out region play in style.

Six different Lady Bears scored goals on Tuesday. Notably, they included the diabolical Reed Tingley, who tallied yet another hat trick. The fantastic freshman will finish as the top goal scorer in the region. As a freshman. Truly diabolical.

Other goals were scored by Piper Preiss, who converted the Lady Bears first penalty kick of the season. Zoe Graham, Chandler Browning, Maddie Klingenspor, and Pela Newell also found the back of the net. Newell logged a solid second half and deservedly earned her second varsity goal.

Assists came from the aforementioned Reed Tingley, Maddie Klingenspor and Piper Preiss. Also tallying assists were Siobhan O'Riordan, who turned in another inspired performance by dropping two second half dimes. Seniors Maddie Ward and Megan Dunn also had assists.

Anna Cate Servine wasn't too busy on Tuesday night. But as always, she showed up when called upon and earned her sixth clean sheet of the season.

The win improves the Lady Bears to 12-3-0 overall for the season and 7-1-0 in the region.

There ain't no rest for the wicked, as the Lady Bears play at Mt Paran Wednesday night at 6pm.
