Lady Bears Triumph in 8-0 Preseason Win

The Lady Bears Varsity soccer team started the 2025 season strong, winning their preseason match against Forsyth Central 8-0. 

Impressively, eight different Lady Bears scored in the win. Senior forward Piper Preiss led things off, bombing a shot from 20 yards out to put the Lady Bears up 1-0. From there, goals rained in from Kiki Mesa, Chandler Browning, Aspyn Stucke, Megan Dunn, and Sienna Solomonson. New Varsity player Zoe Graham had an impressive debut with a goal. And freshman speedster Reed Tingley fired a class finish to earn her first Varsity goal as well. 

Assists were provided by Reed Tingley, Sienna Solomonson, Vivian Higgins, and Aspyn Stucke. 

Anna Cate Servine bossed in goal, making 5 saves and earning her first clean sheet. 

The Lady Bears next match is against Milton at home on Tuesday, February 11th.
