Cambridge-8, Kell-0 Friday, March 13th
On Friday, the Lady Bears cruised to an 8-0 victory over Kell in what was the Lady Bears sharpest performance thus far this season.
The Lady Bears dominated play from start to finish with crisp passing that prevented Kell from gaining much possession of the ball throughout the match. In their last three matches, the Lady Bears have scored 22 goals while conceding zero. The strong defensive efforts have been led by Nikki Hlebec, Leigh Hamblin, Amanda Feely and Kiely Gaertner.
The Lady Bears continue their Region 7 schedule this week with two away games against River Ridge (Wednesday, March 18, 6.00pm) and Creekview (Friday, March 20, 5.45pm).
