Coach Kate Heninger is in her 7th year coaching high school lacrosse. Her previous 6 years were at Roswell High School where she coached at both the JV and varsity levels.
Coach Heninger began her lacrosse career at Roswell when lacrosse was in its infancy in Georgia. During her time at Roswell, she led her team in goals and was named an all-state honorable mention. She went on to play lacrosse recreationally while studying Exercise Science at Brigham Young University. After graduating in 2009, Coach Heninger worked at several sports training programs both in Utah and in Georgia before returning to school for her Master’s degree in education and subsequently becoming a middle school health and physical education teacher.
She currently teaches at Crabapple Middle School. When she is not teaching middle school or coaching high school lacrosse, she spends time coaching for a lacrosse club, Southern Zone.
She is so excited for this new chapter at Cambridge and looking forward building a strong lacrosse culture!
