The Cambridge Girls Golf team played in the Golden Lion Challenge, hosted by St. Pius, at Heritage Golf Club in Tucker, GA on Monday, April 28.
The tournament was a two-player scramble, and the girls enjoyed the fun, friendly competition. Juniors Sabrina Long and Payton Schanen placed first with a score of 58 – 13 under par!
Juniors Tiffany Elam and Caroline Russell placed 4th with a 5 under par 66. Freshman Heather Kipniss played with Michaella Morton from North Gwinnett, and the pair placed 10th out of 25 with a 73.
The team is looking forward to the State tournament on May 19 at Jones Creek Country Club in Augusta.
