The Cambridge Girls Golf team won its second tournament of the season this weekend at the Chattahoochee Invitational, which was hosted by the Gainesville Lady Red Elephant Golf team at the Chattahoochee Golf Club Saturday March 15th.
Junior Rachel Dai led the team with a score of 72 and was awarded the Individual Low Medalist for the second weekend in a row.
Junior Sabrina Long followed with a 79, freshman Heather Kipniss with an 87, and junior Tiffany Elam with an 88.
The girls placed first out of fourteen teams with a team score of 238. Gainesville placed 2nd with a team score of 241, and North Oconee placed 3rd with a team score of 253.
The Cambridge Girls golf team won its first 9-hole match against Alpharetta High school on Tuesday, March 12th. The match was held at White Columns Country Club, despite the cold, windy weather.
Junior Sabrina Long led the team with a 37, junior Payton Schanen followed with a 39, junior Tiffany Elam with a 40, and freshman Heather Kipniss with a 43.
Cambridge finished with a team score of 116, and Alpharetta ended with a team score of 156.
