| Title: | Varsity Track Asst Coach; Sprints |
Coaching Background
I began my track & field journey as a sprinter at Columbus State University, competing at the NCAA Division II level. During that time, I developed a strong understanding of sprint mechanics, speed development, and the physical and mental demands of high-level competition. After college, I transitioned into coaching and have spent the past several years working with athletes at the high school and private training levels. I currently coach Track & Field at Cambridge High School and work with athletes at D1 Training Milton, with a primary focus on sprints, speed development, and explosive performance.
Team & Personal Goals for This Year
My primary goal this season is to help our athletes develop efficient sprint mechanics, improve consistency, and compete with confidence at a high level. From a personal standpoint, I want to continue growing as a coach refining my eye for detail, improving communication with athletes, and contributing to a positive, disciplined, and competitive team culture.
Interesting Fact (Outside of Track & Field)
Outside of track & field, I work in a clinical setting as an exercise physiologist in cardiac rehabilitation. That experience has helped shape how I approach training, recovery, and injury prevention, allowing me to blend performance coaching with a strong understanding of human physiology.
