SENIOR ATHLETES RECOGNIZED AND TEAM SETS THREE SCHOOL RECORDS - REGION MEET NEXT
On April 16, the Cambridge track and field team honored the seniors on the team during the senior meet. Facing off against three other teams, the Cambridge Bears had a nice night and sey three s hool records in the process. The winners of their events included:
Thomas Egan - discus (new school record)
Ibrahim Bangura - 110 meter hurdles (new school record) and 300 meter hurdles
Grant Campbell - high jump (new school record)
Lilah Versluis - long jump and 100 meter hurdles
Francisco Palacios-Rodriguez - 800 meters
Louie Madrid - 400 meters
Kai McCarley - 200 meters and 400 meters
Grayson Peterson - 1600 meters
Rohan Lidhar - triple jump
Lauren Tindle - 3200 meters
Kennedy Williams - 100 meters
Cameron Parodi - 100 meters
Ella Alberici - 1600 meters
The team has been preparing for the all important region meet this week at Blessed Trinity. We are excited and look forward to doing our best to advance a strong contingent to the next round.
A special note to the seniors and their families. It has truly been a blessing to have each one of the seniors on the team. They have been a vital and critical part of the success of the team. We wish them well in all their future endeavors.
