TRACK & FIELD TEAM SETS THREE SCHOOL RECORDS DURING ROSWELL RELAYS
The Cambridge track & field team took a squad missing some key contributors to Roswell High School for a meet on Saturday, March 15. This meet contests a number of the regular events, along with some relays that are not often on the agenda. Nevertheless, the team worked hard and managed to have some solid performances, along with setting three school records throughout the day.
Some of the noteworthy results from the meet included:
Bailey Williams - finished seventh in the 60 meters (establishing a new school record).
Taylor Lasoff - finished fifth in the 100 meters.
The girls 4x200 meter relay finished second.
Grey Donner - finished fifth in the 3200 meters (PR)
Grant Campbell - finished fourth in high jump
The boys 4x100 meter relay finished eighth.
The boys 4x800 meter relay finished fifth.
The boys 4x1600 meter relay finished second (establishing a new school record by nearly 30 seconds).
The boys distance medley relay won the race with a current state-leading time (establishing a new school record).
Next, the team prepares for the Fulton County Championships on March 29 at Langston Hughes High School.
