The Cambridge Lady Bears softball team continues its quest for the State Title. 

Thursday night, October 30th, the Bears enjoyed another shutout victory, as they beat Harris County, 3-0.  Keara Napoli pitched an outstanding game, while Taylor Greene was very impressive behind the plate.

Coach Chip Flemmer says the bats woke up in Game Two against Union Grove, as the ladies, from the top to the bottom of the lineup, pounded out hits throughout the game. Cambridge got another big win, 9-1.

Tonight, the Lady Bears take on Greenbrier High School (Evans, GA) in the State Semi-Final game, at 7:00 p.m. at the South Commons Sports Complex in Columbus.

Flemmer says he could not be more proud of these girls.  "The team is peaking at the right time."
