Congratulations to Lauren Stewart on being named as a 1st team All-State outfielder for the 2013 softball season!
The entire Cambridge softball program and athletic department would like say how proud we are of Lauren being the first softball player in school history to be named as an All-State athlete.
Stewart played centerfield and hit leadoff for the Lady Bears this season. Her bat, glove and speed on the bases were critical to the success of the team as they went 21-9 and a trip to the Sweet 16 in the State Playoffs.
The best news for Bear fans is that Stewart will be back next season for her season campaign.
