The win streak continued on Wednesday night August 27th as the Cambridge Lady Bears handed an 8-0 shut out to the Riverwood Lady Raiders at Cambridge Softball field.  

The pitching by the Lady Bears proved to be just too much for the Raiders as the Bears took care of business in only 5 innings.  Keara Napoli allowed only 1 hit, and sent 6 of 14 Raiders to the dugout with strike outs.  Mariah Kubik picked up where Napoli left off as she completed the 1-hit shutout in the 5th inning with 2 strikeouts and a ground out to close the game.  

The offense was lead by Maria Lay and Lauren Stewart with 2 hits each, and Lily Valeo with 2 RBIs.  

This win takes the Lady Bears to 6-0, where they will defend their record at Home on Thursday night August 29th against Creekview.
