Men's Tennis Team Drops Match to Alpharetta 4-1 Wed. April 10th

Weather for tennis on Wednesday afternoon was finally ideal but, unfortunately, the young, hard fighting Bears men's team lost to a seasoned Raiders team from Alpharetta 4-1.

The lone Bears' win came from the doubles team of Grant Hollingsworth and Kez Fitzgerald, winning easily over their Raider opponents in two sets, 1 & 2. Michael Feirer, David Ashcom and Carson Harrell all had very competitive singles matches but were unable to come up with the win in the end. The doubles team of Brenner Lapid & Zac Hirschler came back from a set down to win the second set but were unable to bring it home in the third set.

In additional matches, the doubles team of Cameron Croom and Kaivon Mohseni lost to their opponents in a pro set. Finally, in the last match of the day, Alex Wilson lost a tight singles match to his opponent 8-6 .

Next up for the Bear's tennis team is the Region playoff. The Bears play Tuesday April 16th and Wednesday April 17th for a chance to go to State Playoffs.
