Varsity Boy's Golf Team Successfully Defends Championship at TaylorMade Invitational

The Cambridge Varsity Boy's Golf team successfully defended their title by winning the TaylorMade Invitational by one shot over Lakeside Evans and 17 other teams on Saturday, March 12 at Waynesboro Country Club.

Cambridge won the title in 2015 and eventually went on to win Region and the 5-A State Title... can another magically season be on the horizon?

The team was led by sophomore Andrew Ackerman's even par 71, Juniors Robbie Bentley 74 and Brad Plaziak 74 and freshman Jack Vajda with a 74.  Senior Austin Redick shot 75.

The Bears next play in the Big Red at Gainesville Golf Club on Monday, March 14th. After that, the Boys play in the Georgia/South Carolina Cup at Alpharetta Athletic Club East this weekend, March 18th & 19th.

Go Bears!
