Bears Boy's Golf Teams Sweep Centennial, Lambert in Blustery Conditions

Cambridge Varsity vs. Centennial at White Columns (4/15/14) 

In very difficult windy and unseasonably cold weather the Cambridge Varsity boys led by Senior Chris Meyer's even par 36 defeated Centennial HS in a convincing fashion 152 – 202 at White Columns Country Club Tuesday April 15th.

Winds were whipping with gusts close to 40 mph throughout the afternoon, however the boys were ready for the task.

Sophomore Austin Redick shot a 1 over par 37, Sophomore Ryan Stachler 38, and Senior Evan Goldfuss a 41 contributed to the team score.

Others playing for Cambridge included; Seniors Leland Dunwoodie 41, Justin Beard 48, and Sophomore AJ Klabnik 42.  

 


Cambridge JV Boy's vs. Lambert at Laurel Springs (4/15/14)

Blustery hardly begins to describe the conditions that awaited the Cambridge junior varsity boy's golf team when it arrived at Laurel Springs Tuesday April 15th to compete against Lambert. 

Despite the bone-chilling temperatures and 30-40 mile per hour winds, the Bears bested the Longhorns by 17 strokes (165-182). 

Sophomore Sutton Dunwoodie and freshman Brad Plaziak paced Cambridge by turning rounds of 37 and 39, respectively. 

Also contributing to the Bears' scoring were freshmen Austin Stachowski and Robbie Bentley.  Stachowski shot 43 and Bentley posted a 46.
