Dee Temples, a 2012-2013 Cambridge High cheerleader, recently attended the Spirit of Hope competition in Charlotte and was so inspired that she decided to organize her own cause.
To help with this charity, Dee worked to raise money for the March Forth With Hope Foundation which benefits cancer patients. She completely planned and advertised and promoted (through social media) the Stretch for Charity event.
This event was held Saturday February 23rd from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.. She had approximately 80 cheerleaders attend the event.
At the end, she raised $1025.00 for the charity and taught a lot of cheerleaders how to stunt and stretch safely while gaining more flexibility...a truly impressive community service project.
GREAT JOB Dee Temples!
