The Cambridge High School Cheerleaders along with the 9th and 10th grade Student Councils hosted a school wide Red Out Spirit Week January 28-February 1 to benefit the American Heart Association.
"Red Rock The Beat" T-Shirts were sold by the cheerleaders each morning at school throughout the week leading up to this Friday event. The cheerleaders hosted a Pep Rally in school Friday afternoon. Later that evening, the cheerleaders reached out to our Bear fans and families and collected donations in the stands during the basketball games throughout the Cambridge gyms.
They didn't stop there.
The cheerleaders capped off the day with the Rockin' to Sock Heart Disease Dance which was organized by the 9th and 10th grade student councils following the games. Nearly $900.00 was raised for The American Heart Association during this week long event.
