Lady Bears Lacrosse Ends Season with 12-6 Record; Dominate First Playoff Game Against Parkview

The Lady Bears Varsity Lacrosse team closed out the season with a tough loss to defending state Champs Milton High School 10-8 on Friday, April 28th.  In a back and forth defensive battle, the Lady Bears could not keep pace with the Milton Eagles losing 10-8 in a very close and competitive game.  

Defense was key in holding the high flying Milton Eagles to 10 goals despite losing most draw controls.  Senior Hunter Hoard, Lauren Ryan, Daisy Valeo, Lexi Jack, and Caroline Harris led the defensive charge and goalie Landyn White had 9 saves.  On the offensive side, Belle Dora and Abby Edmisten had multiple goals for the Lady Bears.

In the first playoff game against Park View High School on Wednesday, May 3rd, the Lady Bears dominated from beginning to end with a great team effort to win 19-0.  Bailey Hawkins had a season high 5 goals and Allie Earwood added another 3 goals to provide the Lady Bears with their first post season win.

The Lady Bears travel to Kennesaw Mountain High School this Tuesday night, May 9th at 6:30 pm for the quarter final playoff game.

Come out to support the Lady Bears as these young ladies continue their climb to the goal of a State Championship in May!
