Cambridge Bears Golf Team Helps Georgia Win Georgia–South Carolina Cup, March 16-17th

The Cambridge Boys Golf team opened the season at the Georgia – South Carolina Cup tournament played at the Village Green Golf Club and River Falls Plantation in Lyman, South Carolina on March 16-17th.

Georgia and South Carolina compete with 9 teams of 5 players each for the overall combined team scores for the Georgia – South Carolina Cup and low scoring individual honors.  Cambridge finished T9 out of an 18 team field.  Georgia's teams have retained the Cup for an impressive 9th consecutive year.

The weather and conditions on March 16th resulted in good team scores for Cambridge led by Senior Blake Kollin - 74; Junior Ryan Demit - 75; Junior Blake Farbman - 76; Sophmore Coleman Leathers - 77; and Junior Hogan Losch - 86.  Windy day two at River Falls Plantation was led by Coleman Leathers - 77; Ryan Demit - 78; Blake Kollin - 80; Blake Farbman - 81; and Drew Henrikson – 84.
