Cambridge Golf Team Helps Georgia Win in Ga-South Carolina Cup, March 17-18th

The Varsity Boys Golf team competed in their first event this season at the Georgia South Carolina Cup tournament played at River Falls Plantation in Lyman, South Carolina on March 17-18th.  

Cambridge finished 6th out of 18 teams competing and helped retain the cup for Georgia for the 8th consecutive year of this event.  9 teams from Georgia compete against 9 teams from South Carolina as well as compete for overall team and individual honors. 

Senior Brad Plaziak finished 2 shots off the lead with the lowest round of the day on Saturday and the only round under par at 71 to earn the All-Tournament Team award.  Senior Matt Leeman's solid finish on Friday at 76 was a qualifying score for the Georgia team total.  Seniors Robbie Bentley and Austin Stachowski along with Junior Blake Kollin represented Cambridge and the state of GA high school golf this past weekend. 

Congratulations to the Bears, the GA teams and to Brad Plaziak for their outstanding accomplishments!
